FLOATING THE JURAMENTO RIVER
3 complete days of fishing
The Juramento River is close to the base camp in El Tunal and is fished on 4 different drift boat sections allowing new water to fish each day. Fish in excess of 30 pounds can be landed in this river as you drift between drop off and pick up points, casting to likely structure and hoping for a hungry Dorado to be close by.
Fishing Season:
From February 15 to November 16.
Dorado River
Located in the village of “Las Lajitas” in the middle of the “yunga Salteña” (subtropical forest), adjacent to the National Park El Rey, the Río Dorado runs freely.
With fully crystalline waters, ideal for wet wading and sighfishing, with light equipment ranging from # 6 to # 8 (ideal size) with a floating line. This beautiful river, averages 3 kg, Dorados. You can capture up to 12 kg.
Dorado River gives us a unique type of fishing, in which we get to see our pray and fish it like a subtle trout.
Tour Program
7 days program, all inclusive (shuttle, hotel, permits, breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Minimum group of 2 people. Maximum group: 4 people. Contact with us to obtain more information and prices in special programs.
DAY 1: Transfer from airport to San Fernando Lodge. Arrival in the afternoon. Dinner.
DAY 2: Breakfast .Transfer to Rio Dorado. (40 min.) Will reach the river by truck. Fishing. Lunch on the river (lunch type). Fishing in the afternoon. Return to our lodge and dinner.
3rd DAY: Breakfast. Full-time on Rio Dorado. Riverside Lunch. In the afternoon fishing, back to our lodge and dinner.
DAY 4: Breakfast and moved to Juramento River and start floating. Riverside Lunch. Fishing In the afternoon and back to base in the Tunal for Dinner.
5th DAY: Breakfast at the Lodge and transfer to the river to begin our float. Lunch. Riverside Lunch. Fishing In the afternoon and back to base in the Tunal for Dinner.
6th DAY: Breakfast at the Lodge and transfer to the river to begin our float. Lunch. Riverside Lunch. Fishing In the afternoon and back to base in the Tunal for Dinner.
7th DAY: Breakfast at the Lodge and transfer to airport. End of the tour.
